• Position: Food and Beverage Server (NOC 65200)
• Number of Vacancies: 2
• Wage: $20.00 per hour
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Work Location: On-site
• Schedule: Morning, day, evening, night, weekends and shifts; overtime required

Job Responsibilities

• Greet customers, present menus and provide recommendations on traditional Indian dishes, appetizers, tandoori specialties, curries, breads and beverages.
• Explain menu items, ingredients, spice levels, portion sizes and daily specials to assist customers with their food and beverage selections.
• Take customers' food and beverage orders accurately, including dietary preferences, spice-level requests and special instructions, and relay orders to kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve freshly prepared Indian meals, including tandoori dishes, vegetarian and non-vegetarian curries, biryani, naan, rice and accompanying beverages.
• Inform customers about vegetarian options, common food allergens and available menu modifications, confirming special dietary requests with kitchen staff.
• Recommend suitable appetizers, side dishes, traditional Indian beverages and desserts to complement customers' meals.
• Present bills, process payments through cash, debit cards and credit cards, and provide receipts.
• Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs, and prepare dining areas for incoming customers.
• Respond professionally to customer questions, complaints and concerns to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Coordinate with kitchen and other service staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages during busy dining periods

Employment Requirements

• Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
• Experience: Previous experience is an asset but not mandatory.
• Language: English.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings.
