Job Description

As Salon Manager, you'll run the salon day to day - leading our team of stylists, keeping operations running smoothly, overseeing the client experience, and driving our marketing and social media presence.
You'll be the face of the salon to both clients and staff, so a polished, professional presence and genuine people skills are essential.
What You'll Do
* Oversee day-to-day salon operations, including scheduling, inventory, and product ordering
* Lead, support, and manage the team of stylists
* Support the hiring, onboarding, and training of new stylists
* Own the salon's marketing and social media activity, growing our profile and affracting new clients
* Deliver an excellent client experience and handle customer concerns with professionalism
* Keep on top of the books, with basic accounting and bookkeeping support for the owner
* Work comfortably with our booking system (Fresha)
* Help set and work toward business goals, such as revenue and retail sales targets

What We're Looking For

* At least 1 years of experience managing or running a salon
* A strong grasp of marketing and social media
* Proven ability to manage and lead a team, with excellent soft skills
* A presentable, professional manner and strong communication skills with both clients and staff
An asset
* Familiarity with accounting and bookkeeping
* Hands-on hairstyling experience
