Position: Cook, Ethnic Foods (NOC: 63200)

 

Job Duties:

  • Prepare and cook complete Japanese meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers
  • Oversee kitchen operations
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work area
  • Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
  • Hire and train kitchen staff

- Terms of Employment: Permanent, full-time

- Wage: $18.00 for 30 hours per week

- Benefit: 4% vacation pay of remuneration

- Qualifications/Skill Requirements:

Education:  Completion of Secondary School

Experience: 1-7 months of experience in commercial food preparation

Language: Speak English, Read English, Write English
