$16.00 per hour, 35 hours per week

Duties

1. Measure and portion ingredients as directed by the chef or kitchen staff.
2. Clean and sanitize kitchen utensils, dishes, and equipment.
3. Wash, peel, and chop ingredients for daily use.
4. Maintain cleanliness in food preparation and storage areas.
5. Dispose of kitchen waste appropriately.
6. Support chefs and cooks during food preparation.
7. Receive and store food supplies and equipment.
8. Keep track of inventory and rotate stock to ensure freshness.
9. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

1. Secondary education preferred.
2. Previous experience in Food Service/Hospitality will be an asset.
3. Ability to understand and follow directions.
4. Ability to meet restaurant standards for health, safety, and excellence.
5. Ability to work well as part of a team.
