Position Summary: 

The Beautiful Daycare Ltd. is looking for one Early Childhood Educator Assistant. 

Job Details: 

Location: Port Coquitlam, BC V3C 3L8

Salary: $20.00 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week 

Employment Type: Permanent Employment, Full time 

Employment Conditions: Day, Morning 

Employment Requirements: Starts as soon as possible

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: Experience an asset

Responsibilities: 

Tasks: 

• Bathe, diaper and feed infants and toddlers

• Support early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children

• Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records

• Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs and preparing crafts

• Maintain daycare equipment and assist in housekeeping and cooking duties

• Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods

• Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors

• Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings

• Plan and organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours

Credentials: 

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Child development assistant (ECE level 1)
