Location: Calgary, AB T3J 0J8

Salary: $38.10 per hour for 35 hours per week

Number of vacancies: 1

Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours

Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Type: Permanent employment

 Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, coordinate, and execute marketing strategies and campaigns to strengthen the company’s market presence;
• Oversee all creative projects, including graphic design, photography, print, web design, and content creation;
• Create goals and objectives to approach customers through social media across multiple platforms;
• Manage creation, execution, and implementation of daily social media and monthly marketing initiatives; 
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop messaging, storytelling,and copywriting; and Schedule, plan, and implement all brand events and launches.
• Support marketing executives in organizing various projects
• Conduct market research and analyze consumer rating reports/ questionnaires
• Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)
• Update spreadsheets, databases and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information

 Eligibility Requirements:

• A CEGEP/college in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
• Typically, 2-3 years’ experience in marketing or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High level of organization and attention to detail
• Comfort with multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment
• Understanding of basic business and marketing concepts
• Excellent time management skills
• Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and social abilities
• Ability to spot emerging trends
• Familiarity with social media, social networking, email marketing and search engines
• Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills
