Hiring Electrician!

High Watt Electric Ltd. located at 14582 110 Ave Surrey, BC V3R 2A7 is hiring 1 electrician to work at Various locations in lower mainland

 Salary: $28.30 / hour

Employment conditions: Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, Weekend

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time 32 hours / week

Start: As soon as possible

Job requirements

Languages -English

Education- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience- 2 years to less than 3 years

Work setting- Various locations, Commercial, Residential

Personal suitability- Client focus, Flexibility, Team player

Work conditions and physical capabilities -Fast-paced environment, Attention to detail, Tight deadlines

Tasks

• Install underground wiring and cables,
• Install, replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes,
• Splice, join and connect wires,
• Determine appropriate selection of materials and methods for hazardous locations
• Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits,
• Troubleshoot and isolate faults,
• Connect power to audio and visual equipment,
• Install surface mount and/or overhead cables,
• Estimate costs and materials
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
• Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures,
• Conduct preventive maintenance programs,
