Location: Oakville, ON L6H 6X7

Salary: $44.25 per hour for 35 hours per week

Number of vacancies: 1

Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours

Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Type: Permanent employment 

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update databases of product performance specifications
• Execute test plans to ensure accuracy of test results
• Create and maintain test documentation
• Maintain databases for test and troubleshooting data, including test data, test results, and defect tracking data
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of quality management systems and test methodologies
• Monitor adherence to quality standards and procedures, resolving problems as they arise
• Develop and implement test plans and test strategies
• Execute test plans, review results, and suggest alternatives that improve performance
• Create and maintain user manuals
• Research, track, and report KPIs for quality assurance
• Develop and maintain test reports
• Conduct regular meetings to discuss project status
• Assist with root cause analysis for the root cause of customer complaints

Eligibility Requirements:

• Completion of Bachelors’ degree in IT, computer science or any related field.
• 2-3 years’ experience in software development or related QA role
• Ability to effectively communicate requirements and contribute to the development of software solutions
• Strong debugging and system analysis skills
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other tools
• Strong programming skills
• High regard for safety standards and quality control
