 Position:   Operations Manager

Job location: 3250 Macdonald St Vancouver, British Columbia V6L 2N3

Wage rate: $42 per hour, 40 hours per week.

Education: Bachelor's degree

Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience.

Language: Good knowledge of English

Working setting: The candidate should be available to work full-time in the day or evening and on weekends, if required.

Job Duties:

• Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
• Authorize and organize the establishment of Administrative, Sales and Marketing and Accounts departments and associated senior staff positions.
• Co-ordinate the task of different departments and locations.
• Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning.
• Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
• Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions.
• Select Store managers, division managers or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions.
• Support the director with all the business-related duties.

Working Conditions: Candidates should be physically fit, able to lift weight (50lbs). Should be punctual, reliable, self-motivated and able to work as a team.
