Position: Store Manager (NOC 60020)

Duration: Full Time – Permanent

Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week

Location: Drayton Valley, AB

Salary: $19.00 to 21.00 per hour (to be negotiated)

Job Requirements:

• Plan, direct and evaluate the operations of the store
• Manage staff and assign duties
• Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales
• Determine items to be sold, and implement price and credit policies
• Source and negotiate with vendors to procure merchandise
• Develop and implement marketing strategies
• Plan budgets, authorize expenditures, and monitor revenues
• Evaluate and improve customer service and respond to customer requests and issues
• Address staffing requirements, including the hiring, development and retention of staff

Experience 

1 year to less than 2 years

Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
