Job Title: Marketing Assistant

Job Description:

• Evaluate the features of products or services intended for promotion to identify the marketing and advertising requirements of a business.
• Provide clients with guidance on opportunities and strategies for marketing, advertising, or sales promotion.
• Organize unique publicity events and promotions for both internal and external audiences.
• Oversee post-campaign analysis to assess and communicate marketing and advertising metrics.
• Create and sustain social media profiles, which involves handling customer reviews and testimonials
• Support in the creation of brochures, reports, newsletters, and other materials.
• Perform surveys on public opinions and attitudes to recognize the interests and concerns of important groups supported by their organization.
• Create and coordinate workshops, meetings, ceremonies, and other events and programs for the purposes of publicity, fundraising, and information dissemination.
• Create, execute, and assess public relations strategies and programs with the aim of keeping clients, employees, and the public informed about the initiatives and policies of businesses, governments, and other organizations.
• Coordinate interviews, news conferences, and other events for the media.
• Serve as the representative or spokesperson for an organization and respond to written and oral inquiries.

Salary: $32.60 CAD per hour / 30 hr per week

Experience: Minimum 1 year to less than 2 years in similar role

Language Required: English

Minimum Education:  College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience
