 POSITION - COMPUTER SYSTEMS MANAGER

Job Title: Computer Systems Manager

Location: 7200 Goreway Drive, Mississauga, ON L4T 2T7

Salary: $96,000 to $ 100,000 annually {i.e., $62.00 to $65.00/ hr} (to be negotiated)

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time 30 to 40 hours / week

Computer and technology knowledge

Computer programming, Data analysis and interpretation, Desktop applications, Networking security, Networking Software, Web servive design, Information management system, Computer assisted records management system

Tasks

Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and servers; Manage and monitor the organization's computer networks, including LANs and WANs; Troubleshoot network issues and ensure optimal network performance; Implement and manage data backup and recovery solutions to prevent data loss; Manage and train a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support; Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues; Develop and deliver training programs to enhance staff IT proficiency; Manage the day-to-day operations of the IT department with a focus on supporting the technology needs of faculty, staff and students.
