PIZZA TOWN & INDIAN CUISINE LTD is a house of Pizza’s, Indian Grill & mouth watering Curries.  We are based in Canada and take catering order too. We are looking for an ETHNIC COOK to join our team.

Experience: 1 to 2 years

Wage: C$ 27.50/hour

Start Date: As soon as possible

NOC Job Title: Cook (63200)

The qualified Cooks will perform the following duties:

• Prepare and cook Pizza and other complete ethnic dishes such as variety of chicken, goat, vegetarian etc.
• Maintain stock required to make dishes.
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation/hygiene regulations
• Plan menus and determine size of food portions.
• Organize and manage buffets and catering
• Clean up station and store leftover food in appropriate conditions
• Estimate food requirements and cost.
• Train staff in preparation of food / dishes.
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers and assist them when needed.
• Oversee kitchen operations.
• Keep a track of the food stocks and other supplies, and maintain inventory according to avoid any disruptions in service
• Keep in mind all safety precautions while dealing with appliances in kitchen.  
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas.
•  Ensure that food safety procedures are followed as instructed in company's Standard Operating Procedures

Cuisine Specialties: Cantonese cuisine, South Indian, East Indian and West Indian 

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods and ability to work in kitchen for extended hours.
