Salary: $24.40 to 27.00 hourly (to be negotiated) {Bifurcation : Pay per mile: 0.47, Avg mile in a hour- 53}

Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full time for 40 to 60 hours /week

 Job Duties 

Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Oversee conditions of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes and other equipment, Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption, Plan travel schedules and routes & use atlases and other trip planning aids, Loading and unloading of goods, safety and security of material at various locations, Maintain logbook (electronically/manually), bill of landing and all paperwork for transportation requirements, Communicate with dispatcher and other drivers using two-way radio, cellular telephone and on-board computer.

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)

AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, Driver's License (Class 1 or A)

Experience and specialization

Documentation knowledge

Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Trip report, Accident or incident reports, Bill of landing, Driver logbook, Trans-border documentation

Communication Systems Experience

Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) , Trip recorder

Security and safety

Valid passport, Bondable, Criminal record check, Driver's validity check, Driver's valididty licence check, Driving record check., drug test, Medical exam

Transportation/travel information

Drug manual transmission vehicle, Willing to travel cross-border, Willing to travel for extended periods, Willing to travel overnight
