Profile: Maintenance person - building (Full time, Permanent Position)

Salary: $22.00 per hour/40 hr per week; overtime: $33.00 after total of 44 hours in a week

Job Description:

• Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors, and stairs.
• Perform daily safety and security checks and perform minor repairs as requested.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
• Complete regular maintenance tasks such as painting and drywall repairs.
• Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris.
• Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
• Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
• Overlook inventory of supplies and equipment and order appliances as per the need.
• Adjust and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
• Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.   

Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, Experience an asset
