Bookkeeper is required at: Your Choice Salon and Spa 

Job Duties:

1.  Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.

2.   Record daily transactions, including sales, expenses, and any other financial activities.

3.   Reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.

4.   Assist in the development and monitoring of the salon and spa's budget.

5.   Provide financial advice to management to support business growth and profitability.

6.   Maintain organized and secure financial documentation for audits and record-keeping purposes.

7.   Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for improvement.

8.    Keep abreast of changes in accounting practices and regulations affecting the salon and spa business.

Experience and Education:

• College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 yearsor equivalent experience
• Minimum 1 year to less than 2 years experience is required

 Salary, working hours, overtime and vacation pay: 

• $27.10 CAD Per Hour

• Minimum 30 hours per week

• (Overtime Rate) $40.65 per hour starting after 44 hours per week

• Holiday pay: 4% of gross pay
