Position title: Bookkeeper

(Full time permanent position)

Job Responsibilities: 

• Record day-to-say financial transactions and complete posting process.
• Balance and maintain accurate ledgers.
• Prepare financial statements and reports through collection, analysis, and summarization of data.
• Reconcile and balance all accounts.
• Complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers’ compensation forms, pension contribution forms and other government documents.
• Manage financial information manually and electronically.
• Monitor office expenses and tally and enter cash receipts.
• Check and verify source documents such as invoices, receipts, computer printouts.
• Prepare quarterly and monthly tax returns, along with payroll, operating and business tax.

Job Other Details:

Salary : CAD $27.20 per hour with 30 hours per week

(Overtime paid CAD $40.80 per hour after 44 hours of work per week; and 4% Holiday pay will be accrued)

Career Level : College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years with a mimium 1 to less than 2 years of relavent experience
