Job Description

Location: Brampton , ON L6S 0E7

Salary: $30.00 per hour for 35 hours per week

Number of vacancies: 1

Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours

Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Type: Permanent employment

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate office activities and operations on day today basis to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies for seamless office operations.
  • Review, evaluate and implement new administrative procedures
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
  • Carry out administrative activities of establishment
  • Schedule meetings, answers phones, and maintains digital and physical records.
  • Plan and coordinate events, meetings, conferences or appointments, professional development, and other department initiatives
  • Assist in preparation of reports and presentations and aids in budgeting process.
  • Maintain rapport with customers, managers, and employees by researching and developing new services and methods, setting priorities, and problem solving for workflow issues.
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
  • Maintain continuity of work operations by documenting and communicating needed actions to management, discovering irregularities, and determining continuing needs.
  • Performing day to day administrative activities like administration purchases viz. office stationery items, etc
  • Maintain and update office records and databases.

 Eligibility Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or a secondary school graduation certificate is typically required.
  • Have a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant administrative experience,
  •  Demonstrate strong organizational abilities to manage office tasks, schedules, and documents efficiently.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues, clients, and external partners.
  • Be proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email, and other relevant applications.
