Job Description

SALARY:     $18.75 per hour

HOURS:       40 hours per week

 

LOCATION:  

Negi Indian Bistro

51 John Street North, Arnprior, ON K7S 2N1

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Prepare and cook Indian-style dishes specializing in Tandoori and Indian curry vegetarian and non-vegetarian food
  • Follow recipes and prepare dishes according to traditional methods
  • Oversee the preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Observe labour and food cost control measures
  • Estimate food requirements
  • Assist with maintaining inventory of food items and supplies
  • Assist with the planning of meals, food portions and costs
  • Prepare special orders
  • Inspect and clean kitchen and work areas
  • Uphold highest quality and food safety standards

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Indian-style cooking
  • Must be available to work afternoons, evenings and weekends
