Job duties

• Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of construction workers engaged in bricklaying, roofing, cement finishing, tilesetting, plastering, drywall installation, glazing, insulating and painting, and workers who install and service prefabricated products in residential and commercial properties, as well as workers who repair a wide variety of products, such as musical instruments, sports equipment, vending machines, bicycles and cameras
• Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in removing asbestos from ceilings, walls, floors, and other structures: Reviews job specifications, inspects work site, and confers with contracting agent to evaluate removal project.
• Estimates length of time, number of workers, and equipment and supplies required to accomplish project.
• Assigns and supervises workers in specific tasks, such as setup of equipment and removal and clean-up of asbestos.
• Examines workers' equipment, such as respirator systems, air evacuation and filtration systems, and air quality testing devices, to ensure that they meet company safety standards.
• May assist workers in removal activities.
• Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other subcontractors
• Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
• Requisition materials and supplies
• Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
• Recommend personnel actions such as hirings and promotions
• Prepare work progress reports
• May also supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of related apprentices, helpers and labourers.

Salary: $36.00 to $38.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 35 to 40 hours per Week
