Albany Packaging is a friendly, experienced and professional carton packaging solutions supplier that works to create the best products for their clients packaging needs. They specialize in the design, manufacture, and printing of quality folding paperboard cartons.

Position: Die-cutting machine operator

Job duties:

• Make-ready, adjust and run job as efficiently as possible to meet safety and productivity standards.

• Examine job order to determine quantity to be cut, stock specifications and special die cutting instructions.

• Examine cutting dies for visual defects and apply correcting solution to repair minor defects.

• Responsible for quality of product. Make necessary adjustments to ensure quality.

• Follows established quality control inspection and documentation procedures.

• Follows product identification procedures.

• Responsible for accurate written and computer production reports.

• Perform proper and required maintenance as well as cleaning of Die Cutter.

• Safely perform all tasks on and around press equipment.

• Attend and participate in ongoing training.

• Other duties as assigned.

Skill sets/experience required:

• Experience in manufacturing/production environment.

• Minimum 1 year of prior experience working with die cutting machines

• Bobst/KBA/Iberica/Heidelberg - Flatbed style machine experience preferred

• Experience of equipment preventative care and troubleshooting.

• Must have basic computer skills.

Terms of employment: Permanent Full Time (Minimum 32 hours per week)

Language of work: At least intermediate English is required

Wage: $21.62/hr
