Human resources officer

 Job Duties:

• Overview the staffing requirement of the company, prepare posts, advertisements, collect, and screen applications received.
• Write and develop job descriptions, person specifications and job adverts.  
• Inform job applicants regarding the employment requirements, terms, and conditions of the employment.
• Maintain employee record as per the policy and legal requirements.
• Prepare job offers.
• Organize staff training, provide information on employee assistance and counselling.
• Mediate and resolve conflicts between employees or between employees and management.
• Manage the application process - check application forms, shortlist, interview, select successful candidate/s and inform unsuccessful ones.
• Carry out strategy and planning activities and develop strategies to meet immediate and long-term staff requirements.
• Develop and implement policies on issues such as working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures, and absence management.
• Generate HR reports for management reviews.

Experience And Education:

• Minimum 1-2 years of Relevant experience

•  College, CGEP or other non- university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or relevant experience.

Salary, Working Hours, Overtime And Vacation Pay: 

• $34.15 CAD Per Hour

• Minimum 30 hours per week

• Overtime Rate $51.23 per hour starting after 44 hours per week

• Holiday pay: 4% of gross pay
