Job Description

Job position: Maintenance person - building

Job duties:

• Sanitize bathrooms and fixtures to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
• Sweep, mop, and polish hallways, floors, and stairs thoroughly.
• Clear snow and ice from walkways and parking areas to ensure safety.
• Utilize industrial vacuum cleaners to eliminate debris and dirt efficiently.
• Clean windows, interior walls, and ceilings for a spotless environment.
• Monitor inventory of supplies and equipment and procure necessary items accordingly.
• Conduct minor adjustments and repairs on heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and coordinate with specialists for major issues.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks like painting and repairing drywall.
• Coordinate with contractors for establishment repairs and maintenance.
• Conduct regular safety and security inspections and address minor issues promptly.
• Assist in the relocation of heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as required.

 Requirements:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required
• 1 year to less than 2 years experience required.
• Work locations will be hotel, motel, resort.
• Requires the ability to read, write, communication in English or french.
• Employment conditions may be Day, Early Morning, Evening, Flexible Hours, Morning, Night, On Call, Overtime, Shift, To be determined, Weekend

Salary & Hours: $22.00 / hour for 40 hours per week

Vacatio pay: 4%
