Job Description

Location: Brampton, ON L6T 2J3

Salary: $28.25 per hour for 35 hours per week

Number of vacancies: 1

Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours

Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Type: Permanent employment

 Job Responsibilities:

  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
  • Manage phone calls, correspondence, mail, packages, deliveries, and calendars
  • Data entry, processing, preparation, and reconciliation of paperwork, invoices, and bills
  • Assist in preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
  • Overseeing day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Maintaining and organizing records, including employee records, financial documents, contracts, and other important files.
  • Managing relationships with vendors and suppliers, including negotiating contracts, monitoring service levels, and processing payments.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. Assisting with legal matters and maintaining proper documentation
  • Monitoring office expenses and maintaining financial records. 

Eligibility Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
  • Previous administrative experience of 2 to 3 years is desired.
  • Strong organizational abilities are essential for managing administrative tasks, schedules, and office operations efficiently.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills are important for handling correspondence and interacting with colleagues and clients.
  • Proficiency in using office software such as word processing, spreadsheet applications, and email is crucial.
  • Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Accuracy in record-keeping and data entry is vital to avoid errors in administrative tasks.
