Job Title: Financial Analyst (Permanent full-time position)

 Education:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree with finance major or specialization or equivalent experience
• Master of Management or Master of Business Administration an asset

 Work Experience:

• Work experience in a Real Estate Developer or Property Development company an asset;
• Must provide reference attesting at least 1 year of experience in: collecting and analyzing financial information and providing financial and investment or financing advice to a corporation

 Work Locations:

•  600 Cochrane Drive, Unit 120, Markham, ON L3R 5K3

 Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive financial risk assessments, prepare forecasts, financing scenarios, and reports to evaluate project profitability and cost-effectiveness, aligning insights with company’s objectives;
• Monitor and optimize project resources to ensure efficient cash flow management, assessing financial performance metrics for both short- and long-term goals;
• Analyze investment projects, providing strategic recommendations for decision-making;
• Advising on and participating in the financial aspects of contracts, tender processes, and project budgets to align with company’s goals;
• Develop, implement, and utilize tools for managing and analyzing financial portfolios, including meticulous recording and categorization of financial transactions to ensure data accuracy;
• Assist in preparing operating and investment budgets, optimizing budget allocations to enhance overall project financial performance and identifying/implementing cost-saving opportunities to contribute to the financial success of different projects;
• Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing financial systems and tools, including QBO and Excel, to optimize workflows and facilitate data interpretation. Utilizing technological resources for enhanced financial navigation and analysis.

 Remuneration:  $38.50 / hour (normal working hours of 30 hours per week)
