College-level diploma in pharmacy technician or pharmaceutics

Experience

Minimum 1 Year experience is required.

Job Duties

• Advise patients in the use and care of prostheses and orthoses.
• Compound oral solutions, ointments, and creams.
• Ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate, enter client information in databases and prepare medications for clients.
• Maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products
• Clean and restore ocular prostheses.
• Interpret physician's specification.
• Advise patients on loss of depth perception.
