2 VACANCIES - WELDERS

Job Title: Welder

Location: 1191 Eglinton Ave East, Mississauga, ON L4W 1K6, Canada

Salary: $26.00 to $28.00 / hour (To be negotiated)

Vacancies: 2

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time 30 to 40 hours / week

Employment conditions: Day,  Morning, On call, Overtime, Shift, To be determined.

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years

Work Site Environment

Outdoors, Confined spaces, Dusty, Hot, Odours

Tasks

Interpret welding process specifications, Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes, Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications, Fit, braze and torch-straighten metal, Determine weldability of materials, Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products, Finding the right pieces of metal according to the design,  Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment, Utilizes standard welding and shop tools, equipment and measuring instruments to perform complex welding repair, fabrication etc., Assess, identify welding surfaces to fill gaps; Finding the righ pieces of metal according to the design, Work of arc, metal inert gas {MIG}. gas welding procedures and a varierty of equipments used in structural repair,
