Job Description

Wage: $20.00 per hour; 40 hours per week

 

Location of Work:  Caldense Bakery, 442 Holland Street West, Bradford, ON L3Z 0G1

 

Job Description:

  • Preparing a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread and all other Portuguese traditional specialties including Portuguese cream tarts “pastel de nata” and “bolo rei”, etc.
  • Prepare dough, icings and frostings according to Portuguese recipes or special customer orders
  • Bake mixed doughs and batters
  • Decorate cakes, pastries and other baked goods
  • Ensure quality of baked products meet our standards
  • Place orders for baking supplies
  • Determine type and quantity of pastries to produce

 

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience
  • Specialization in Portuguese pastries and breads
