Work Hours: 35-40 hours/week

Lettieri Espresso Bar & Café is an Italian style coffee shop located inside the busy mall of Bayville Village in Toronto, ON.  It provides customers with fine European style coffee and eateries such as: traditional Italian Panini, baked good, several type of sweet pastries, and variety of meals.

Job Duties

v  Monitor, coordinate the operation of the cafeteria, making sure every procedure follows the standards set by our company.

v  Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the daily activities of staff who serve food.

v  Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for the café and meal preparation.

v  Maintain records of stock, wastage, and sales, provide improvement suggestions to manager.

v  Set working procedures and make sure they are implemented strictly.

v  Provide training to new staff, including operation procedures, food safety, customer service, etc. 

v  Discuss with manager and plan the appropriate promotion activity each month.

v  Discover and respond to customer needs and handle customers complaints. Try to attain and maintain the greatest customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

- College Diploma is required

- Previous experience in a similar role within the food service industry, preferably in a hotel or cafeteria setting, 1 year working experience is mandatory, 2 years + is preferable.

- Knowledge of food safety regulations

- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
