Ethnic Food Cook – Indian Sweet maker

Positions available: 2

 

Employer: Diya Restaurant and Sweets Ltd

 

Job Location: 13655 72 Ave, Surrey, BC, V3W 2P2

Salary: $20.00 hourly

Hours: 40 per week

Terms of employment: Full-time, permanent

Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience

Language: English

Education: completion of secondary school

Start date: as soon as possible.

 

Job Duties:

  • Prepare Indian Sweets, ensure quality of sweets.
  • Prepare and cook ladoo, barfi, gulab jamun, phirni, milk cake, rasgulla etc
  • Maintain the clean and hygienic environment in the kitchen.
  • Monitoring and estimating the daily supplies as required.
  • Working as a team with the other cook/chef in the kitchen.
  • Work in a team to prepare for the parties and catering orders.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of sweets
  • Order Supplies and equipment
