Paradise Manufacturing Ltd (Cabinets & Countertops) establsihed in 1974 in Prince George is hiring for a full time permanent Woodworking Machine Operator.  

Start date: ASAP 
Pay rate: $28/hrs

Hours per week: 32- 40
Location: 2224 Queensway St, Prince George, BC V2N 5R5

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Set up, program and operate one or more computerized or manual woodworking machines
• Fabricate or repair wooden parts for furniture, fixtures and other wood products
• Operate gluing machines to glue pieces or wood together or press and affix wood veneer to wood surfaces
• Operate preset special purpose woodworking machines to fabricate wood products
• Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions
• Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment
• Replace parts as required

Job requirements:

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience: At least 7 months to 1 year of experience 

Equipment and machinery experience: Computerized woodworking machine, Drills, Gluing machines, Planers, Routers, Sanders, Saws, Door machine, Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines  

Language of work: English
