Axis Planning Inc., is an Export & Import Trading Company based in Vancouver, Canada. In a City known for its geographic accessibility as the gateway to North America, we also offer extensive logistic services, through our office in Tokyo, Japan.

We are also operating another website called “SAKE MAGAZINE”, and currently looking for a full-time and permanent Web Developer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Consult with clients to develop and document Website requirements
• Develop, write, modify, integrate and test Web site related code and Web application interfaces
• Conduct tests and analyze data to monitor quality, security, user interface experiences and to identify areas for improvement
• Develop and implement procedures for ongoing Web site revision
• Prepare mock-ups and storyboards
• Monitor and maintain Web site functionality
• May participate in Web site architecture and design in collaboration with designers or clients
• Research and evaluate a variety of interactive media software products.
• Source, select and organize information for inclusion and design the appearance, layout and flow of the Website
• Create and optimize content for Website using a variety of graphics, database, animation and other software
• Lead and co-ordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop Website graphics, content, capacity and interactivity

Education, skills and experience required:

• A bachelor's degree, OR completion of a college program, OR several years of professional experience developing web-based and/or data processing applications
• Relevant background with strong software development skills
• Proficiency working with Microsoft, SQL, CSS, HTML (Java, JavaScript, React.js also useful skills)
• Experience writing and maintaining reusable code libraries/functions
• Knowledge of unit test frameworks is an asset
• Experience creating and/or maintaining technical documentation is an asset
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting

Language: Communication skills in English

Compensation:

$ 38.40 / hour, 4% Vacation Pay, Extended health benefit including life, dental and eyecare.

*** 6% Vacation Pay after 5-year full-time employment.
