Pipelayer Assistant

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Help the Pipelayer in ensuring slopes meet specifications using levels or lasers

• Assist in joining pipe pieces and seal joints 

• Dig and level trenches to required depths as per the instructions 

• Tap and drill holes based on Pipelayer’s instructions in pipes to add auxiliary lines or devices

• Utilize instruments like lasers, grade rods, and transit levels for installation

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of related experience is required

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification is required 

• Driver license or ability to obtain one in a short time frame is required

• Employment contingent upon passing pre-employment drug screening

Salary: We offer a salary range between $25.00 and $32.00 per hour based on qualifications.

Bonus: Potential bonus based on performance of up to 15% of annual salary at employer’s discretion.
