Education and Experience:

Completion of college diploma in food service administration or related discipline or equivalent experience is required.

Language requirement:

English

Hours per week:

35-44 hours per week, 8 hours a day Days,evenings,weekends,overnight,flexible timing

Job duties:

• Coordinating and supervising activities of staff who prepare meals
• Assign workstations and manage breaks
• Preparing schedule and roster for staff and addressing staffing concerns
• Maintaining records of sales, stock,and wastage
• Planning and ordering ingredients and supplies required for inventory
• Effective use of operating system to balance key goals of speed,food quality and cost
• management
• Ensuring that food and quality of service meets the standards set by Food Services Code
• and governed by Public Health Ontario
• Training and monitoring staff in their job duties , sanitation and safety procedures
• Establishing standards for personnel performance and customer service
• Addressing any customer complaints regarding food quality and service
• Completes various tasks as requested by management that may include but is not limited
• to: daily and weekly paperwork, inventory, purchasing

Employment requirements:

• Completion of college diploma or equivalent experience
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Ability to deal with a variety of people:customers,staff, and management
• Responsible,reliable and honest
• Ability to make quick decisions under stressful conditions
• Valid Food Safe Certificate or agree to obtain within 6 months of starting work
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to do some heavy lifting
