Job Responsibilities

• Supervise kitchen staff who is responsible for preparing toppings and dough for the pizzas.
• Clean kitchen and work areas at the end of the shift.
• Assist in recruiting and hiring kitchen staff.
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of pizza and other side dishes.
• Order supplies and equipment required for the kitchen.
• Prepare gourmet pizzas and side dishes according to customers’ order.
• Ensure special care is taken while preparing pizzas and side dishes for customers with food allergies.
• Ensure kitchen is clean and meets company standards.
• Plan special pizza menus, determine amounts of toppings, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies;
• Monitor product levels and assist in inventory as required.
