Job title: Air conditioning and refrigeration mechanic

Number of Positions: 2

Start date of employment: As soon as possible

Wages: $32/hour, 40 hours/week

Job Duties:

• Install and overhaul heating systems.
• Install equipment in refrigerated trucks used to transport food or medical supplies.
• Install refrigeration systems.
• Measure and lay out reference points for installation.
• Prepare tenders and quotations.
• Troubleshoot heating systems.
• Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components.
• Measure, cut and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair and overhaul entire heating, ventilation, air handling, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems.
• Handle, recover and store refrigerants.
• Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, or heat pump systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints.

Requirements:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
• Language: English

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

Physically demanding, Handling heavy loads, Attention to detail, Bending, Crouching, Kneeling.
