Position: Nut - Roasting Equipment Operator (NOC: 94140)

Salary: $19.50 per hour, 40- 44 hrs per week

Languages: English

Education:  No degree, certificate, or diploma

Experience:  3 year to less than 5 years

Work setting: Warehouse

Responsibilities

Tasks:

• Operate machinery to process and bag, box or otherwise package food products
• Perform corrective machine adjustments.
• Record production information.
• Observe gauges, computer printouts and video monitors to verify specified processing conditions.
• Clean machines and immediate work areas
• Inform supervisor of mechanical malfunctions or product irregularities
• Adjust process variables.
• Maintain shift log of production and other data.
• Set up and adjust processing and packaging machines.
• Check products for defects and to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Feed nuts, and raw materials into machinery.
• Season and mix different nuts with different flavour.
• Examine finished products for quality, readiness and flavour.
• Operate machinery to process and bag, box, or otherwise package food products,
• Operate machinery to package nuts and finished products.
