Location: Toronto, ON M5L 1E2

Salary: $35.25 per hour for 35 hours per week

Number of vacancies: 1

Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours

Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Type: Permanent employment

 Job Responsibilities:

1. Producing high quality design assets for both online and offline user including, but not limited to, social media and web banners, corporate videos, brochures, events, flyers, etc.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create visually stunning designs for various marketing collateral of clients, including brochures, product packaging, digital assets, and presentations.
3. Develop engaging visuals that effectively communicate client’s brand message and enhance the user experience.
4. Design web pages, brochures, logos, signs, books, magazine covers, annual reports, advertisements, and other communication materials.
5. Create these materials by hand or by using technology, including computer software programs.
6. Create or incorporate illustrations, pictures, and designs to reflect the desired theme and tone of the communications.
7. Select type size and style to enhance the readability of text and image
8. Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams or clients on a wide range of materials that may include web pages, presentations, programming collateral, signage, internal communications, newsletters, and marketing materials
9. Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand

 Eligibility Requirements:

1. A CEGEP/ college degree in graphic design or a related field, such as visual communication or fine arts.
2. Practical experience of 2 to 3 years in a relevant role is crucial.
3. Proficiency in graphic design software like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is required.
4. One should have a creative and artistic flair, as their role involves creating visually appealing designs.
5. Good communication skills are important to understand clients' needs and convey design ideas effectively.
