Job Description

Wage: $25.00 per hour (full-time position, 40 hours/week)

job description:

• Maintain financial accounting records of revenues and expenses
• Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, prepare trial balance of books, maintain general ledgers, prepare financial statements
• Verify bookkeeping procedures and recording of financial transactions
• Maintain payroll records, submit tax remittance forms and other government documents
• Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
• Calculate and prepare payments for payroll and utility, tax and other bills
• Complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers' compensation forms, pension contribution form, HST remittances and other government documents
• Assist with the preparation of tax returns and financial statements and other accounting reports
• Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting
• College program in accounting
• Computer skills & good with keyboard
• Good spoken and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
