Job Description

Securiguard Services is seeking a Security Guards Supervisor (TEER 62029) in Burnaby. It is a full-time, permanent position, 40 hours/week, $21.50/hour. Vacation 4%. Extended health and dental benefits. Start date as soon as possible.

As a Security Guard Supervisor, you will be expected to perform the following duties:

• Coordinate, assign and review the work of security guards.
• Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities with other work units or departments.
• Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports.
• Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
• Requisition supplies and materials.
• Ensure smooth operation of computer systems, equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work.
• Monitor quality and production levels. Performance and KPIs of security services and security contract delivery.
• Perform the same duties as workers supervised.

Requirements:

• Must have Security Guard Licence.
• Must have completed high school or equivalent.
• Must have at least 2 years of directly related work experience.
• Must have excellent organization skills and ability to multitask.
• Must be able to handle work under pressure in a very fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional in difficult situations.
• Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
• Must be able to supervise.
• Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends.
• Must be able to provide at least one professional reference upon request.
