Job Description

Location: Mississauga, ON L5R 3E7/ Remote work available

Salary: $48.00 per hour for 35 hours per week

Number of vacancies: 1

Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours

Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Type: Permanent employment

Job Responsibilities:

• Modifying software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces.
• Directing system testing and validation procedures.
• Directing software programming and documentation development.
• Discussing and understanding clients’ and/or users’ requirements.
• Researching and prototyping possible solutions.
• Writing and testing code.
• Applying project management methodologies.
• Collaborating with other developers and other professionals such as technical writers and graphic designers.
• Gather and evaluate user feedback
• Recommend and execute improvements
• Create technical documentation for reference and reporting

Eligibility Requirements:

• College level degree or diploma required
• A thorough understanding of computer architecture, operating systems, and data structures
• The desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
• 2-3 years of experience working on a variety of software development projects.
