1. Job Details
1) Location: Markham, ON.
2) Remote work available.
3) Salary: $32.50 to $35.50 / hour (to be negotiated).
4) Vacancy: 1
5) Terms of Employment: Permanent Employment and Full-time.
6) Work Schedule: 6 hours / day and 30 hours / week.
7) Start date: As soon as possible.

2. Employment Requirements
1) A university degree or college diploma in business marketing, public relations, communications, journalism, museology or a discipline related to a particular subject matter.
2) Proven working experience (1-2 years) in marketing.
3) Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO and SEM campaigns.
4) Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
5) Able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge about advertising campaigns, marketing programs, and sales promotional strategies.
6) Excellent market research and communication skills.
7) Experience with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
8) Self-motivated and work under pressure.
9) Personal suitability: client focus, effective interpersonal skills, organized, team player.

3. Responsibilities
- Act as spokesperson for an organization
- Advise clients on advertising or sales promotion strategies
- Answer written and oral inquiries
- Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters and other material
- Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions
- Conduct public opinion and attitude surveys
- Develop and organize workshops, meetings, ceremonies and other events for publicity, fundraising and information purposes
- Develop, implement and evaluate communication strategies and programs
- Initiate and maintain contact with the media
- Prepare or oversee preparation of reports, briefs, bibliographies, speeches, presentations, Website content and press releases
- Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops or symposia
- Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
- Conduct comparative research on marketing strategies for industrial and commercial products
- Conduct social or economic surveys on local, regional, or international areas to assess development of potential and future trends
- Design market research questionnaires
- Design, conduct and analyze quantitative and qualitative research projects
- Develop marketing strategies
- Conduct online marketing, E-commerce and Website promotions
- Develop portfolio of marketing materials
- Write and edit press releases, newsletter and communications materials
