Job Description

Our beautiful and new farm located at Haliburton, Prince County, Province of Prince Edward Island is looking for a full-time (at least 40 hours per week) Farm Supervisor to help us in our daily operation.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting
• Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers
• Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
• Maintain quality control and production records
• Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations
• Hire and train staff
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
• Perform general farm duties

Requirements:

• Secondary education is required,
• 1-2 years of relevant experience 
• Physically healthy to be able to handle hard work
• Ability to supervise 3-4 people

Remuneration:

• Salary at least $22.00 per hour for at least 40 hours per week
