Location: Mississauga, ON L5R 3E7/ Remote work available

Salary: $48.25 per hour for 30 hours per week

Number of vacancies: 1

Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours

Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Type: Permanent employment

Job Responsibilities:

• Write, test, and maintain code to meet software requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions.
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues to ensure smooth operation.
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
• Program and code animation software as per the specifications for internet and mobile applications.
• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions to fulfill the customer's requirements.
• Collaborate on projects with an all-development teams comprised of varying skill sets through code reviews and design discussions.
• Analyze information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or modifications of an existing system.
• Stay up to date with advanced technologies to be able to provide the best solutions for new projects.

Eligibility Requirements: 

• College/CEGEP or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of the software development life-cycle.
• The desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
• 2-3 years’ software development or programming or related experience
• Effective English communication is important for collaboration within a team and with non-technical stakeholders.
• The software field evolves rapidly, so a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools is crucial.
• Skills such as teamwork, time management, and problem-solving are often valued.
• Understanding software security principles and practices is increasingly important
