The original sun sushi Japanese restaurant is to offer consumers the choice of dinning in or ordering out with delivery available at selected location in NL.

Location: St. John's, NL

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Co-ordinate special events
• Determine the size of food portions and costs
• Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
• Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Order supplies and equipment
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work areas
• Organize buffets and banquets

Employment requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years of proven work experience as a cook;
• Ability to formulate and explain quality standards of cooking procedures and food presentation
• Ability to work with a team;
• Ability to work independently
• Able to handle work in a fast-paced environment.
• Thorough experience with hot and cold food preparation.
• Nice to have pastry skills
