Job Description
The management of Metex Heat Treating Ltd is pleased to offer the position of Maintenance mechanic, plant at our location in Brampton.
Location: Brampton, ON, L6T 4M2
Salary: 32.00 hourly
Hour: 30 to 40 hours per Week
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time

Responsibilities
Tasks
- Assemble mechanical equipment
- Coach and instruct apprentices
- Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
- Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
- Repair or replace defective machinery parts
- Supervise other workers
- Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up
- Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
- Installing machinery and equipment
- Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
