Job Description

Job Title: Front office manager, hotel (NOC - 60031)
Employer: Lonsdale Quay Hotel Inc.
Location: 123 Carrie Cates Court, North Vancouver, BC, V7M 3K7
Salary: $26.00 / hour
Vacancies: 2
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time 40 hours/week
Start date: As soon as possible
Employment conditions: Day, Evening, Flexible Hours, Morning
Job requirements
Languages: English
Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience
Experience: One or more years of experience is required
Specific Skills: Supervise the day-to-day operations of the front office department to ensure that guest expectations are met and hotel standards are upheld, Hire, train, and manage the performance of front desk staff, ensuring staff are well-prepared to provide excellent service to guests, Handle guest check-ins and check-outs, reservations, and provide information and assistance to guests as needed, Address and resolve any issues or complaints from guests, aiming for swift and effective solutions that uphold the hotel’s reputation, Prepare regular reports on occupancy, rate, and revenue, manage the front office budget, and plan for future staffing needs, Develop and implement front office policies and procedures that improve efficiency and service quality, Continuously seek and integrate feedback to develop and improve training programs for front desk personnel, Monitor and evaluate guest satisfaction and make necessary adjustments in strategies and techniques to enhance customer service.
