Job Description

Location: Brampton, ON L6S 0E7

Salary: $64.20 per hour for 30 hours per week

Number of vacancies: 1

Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours

Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Type: Permanent employment

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Providing guidance, direction, and motivation to the sales team, ensuring they are focused and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the performance of sales representatives, setting targets, and conducting regular reviews.
  • Analyzing market trends, customer demands, and competitor activities to forecast sales projections and plan accordingly.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and partners to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Overseeing the sales department budget, controlling expenses, and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Identifying training needs and organizing skill development programs to enhance the sales team's capabilities.
  • Lead the process of implementing our resources and build a culture based on new business development.
  • Works with key advertisers, including a base of local and locally controlled small businesses, to develop successful relationships.

 

Eligibility Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is required.
  • Significant experience of 5 years or more in sales management is essential.
  • A strong understanding of the industry in which the company operates, including market trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
  • Previous experience in leading and managing sales teams, demonstrating the ability to drive results through others.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets and other key performance indicators.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members, clients, and senior management.
